Peter was baptised in Comrie 21 August 1809. He was an agricultural labourer and jobbing gardener.
Elizabeth Ferguson ( - 1852)
Elizabeth was born in Tulliallan, Kincardineshire, about 1803.
They were married in Tulliallan on 23 January 1834, and were living at Langshot, Muthill, Perthshire in 1836 to 1846. They also lived in Blackford for some time before moving to Auchterarder about 1851.
Elizabeth died there 6 September 1852.

Isabella McDougall *** was born 10 August 1836 at Langshot, Muthill. She married James McFarlane.
James McDougall *** was born 1 February 1839. He married Jessie Cameron in Comrie 8 July 1870. Their children were Peter (1871), Daniel (1873), Mary (1875), Robert (1877), James (1879) and William Christie (1881).
Elizabeth McDougall was born 29 November 1841.
Margaret McDougall was born about 1843.
Robert McDougall was born about 1846.
Janet McDougall was born about 1848.
